
BNY Mellon names Alan Harden as first CEO for Asia-Pacific

BNY Mellon Asset Management has hired Alan Harden as its first chief executive for the Asia-Pacific region. The creation of such a position may indicate the bank has more ambition to grow within the region.
Harden will report to Curtis Arledge, vice-chairman of BNY Mellon and chief executive of the bank's investment management division, which includes the asset management and wealth management arms.
He joins from ING Investment Management, where he was chief executive officer of the Asia-Pacific
