
Renaissance Capital hires new equity derivatives head
Leonard Ellis was named as Renaissance Capital's new head of equity derivatives and structuring on May 17. Based in New York, Ellis will lead the emerging markets investment bank's effort to expand its equity derivatives service into the US market.
Since September 2009, Ellis has worked at Capstone, a US broker-dealer, where he focused on volatility strategies. Before joining Capstone, Ellis ran Citigroup's equity derivatives service for the Americas from 2000. Prior to this, he helped develop
