Isda elects new chairman

Stephen O’Connor has been elected as the new chairman of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association by its board of directors. The move was announced at Isda’s AGM in Prague on April 13.
O’Connor has been a member of the Isda board since 2008, and is global head of over-the-counter clearing at Morgan Stanley.
He succeeds Eraj Shirvani, head of fixed income for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Credit Suisse. Shirvani has served as Isda chairman since April 2008, and presided over a number
