Deutsche Bank launches Australian power trading
Deutsche Bank has appointed managing director Christophe Renaud and vice-president Matthew Jones to establish and develop a new power trading business in Australia.
The head of power trading, Renaud, was previously head of commodities at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited and has 18 years of experience trading commodities derivatives in Sydney, Paris, New York and Tokyo.
The appointments come as liquidity in the Australian power market
