The new European Banking Authority (EBA), European Securities and Markets Authority (Esma) and European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (Eiopa) have announced the names of their chairmen and appointed their management boards.

All three supervisory bodies were established from January 1 this year following the adoption of sweeping new European Union supervision legislation last year. They replace the Committee of European Banking Supervisors, Committee of European Securities
