
HSBC names Robert Lang as new Hong Kong insurance head

HSBC Insurance appointed Robert Lang as managing director for its Hong Kong business on November 25. Lang will be responsible for developing and growing the life, non-life and mandatory provident fund businesses of HSBC Insurance in Hong Kong and will join HSBC’s executive committee in Hong Kong.
Lang will report to David Fried, chairman and chief executive of HSBC Insurance Asia Pacific, and Mark McCombe, chief executive of HSBC Hong Kong.
