Standard Chartered snares Alan Koh as global head of energy sales

Standard Chartered has hired Alan Koh as managing director and global head of energy sales, in a newly created role. Koh will be responsible for driving Standard Chartered's sales of energy and energy-related products.

Based in Singapore, Koh reports to Ashish Mittal, global head of commodity sales, who is also based in Singapore. Mittal joined Standard Chartered early last year.

Koh has more than 20 years of industry experience across Asia, 15 years of it spent at Morgan Stanley. His last role
