HSBC names Legg as new Asia CFO

HSBC has named Sarah Legg as its new chief financial officer for Asia to succeed Iain Mackay, who will transfer to London in December to become group finance director. The appointment will take effect on December 3.

Legg is currently chief accounting officer for Asia Pacific, overseeing 2,000 finance staff across 22 countries and territories in the region. Based in Hong Kong, Legg will report to Peter Wong, chief executive of HSBC Asia Pacific.
