
Nomura hires convertible bond head
New convertible bond specialist for Nomura

Nomura has appointed Doug Decker as head of convertible bond origination. Based in New York, he reports to Glenn Schiffmann, head of investment banking, Americas, and London-based Philippe Dufournier, head of global finance.
Decker joins Nomura from Wells Fargo Securities, New York, where he was head of equity-linked origination until July 2010, having started at Wachovia in the same role in August 2007.
