Dixit Joshi has been named head of equities for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Deutsche Bank after resigning from Barclays Capital last month. Joshi will report to Garth Ritchie, global head of equities at Deutsche, and will be based in London.

Joshi was head of equities for EMEA at Barclays Capital, and was one of the senior bankers responsible for overseeing the integration of the Lehman Brothers equities business, which Barclays acquired after the US firm’s collapse in 2008.
