Can Uran leaves Bank of America Merrill Lynch for senior role at UBS

UBS has appointed Can Uran as co-head of fixed income, currency and commodities for the emerging markets. Uran will work alongside fellow co-head Ritesh Dutta and will join in early September. Based in London, he reports to FICC co-heads, Dimitri Psyllidis and Rajeev Misra.

Uran’s last position was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he had worked since 2007. He was most recently head of emerging markets credit trading. Prior to this, Uran was at Goldman Sachs, working in both London and
