UBS hires new emerging markets head
Can Uran joins bank as co-head of FICC emerging markets.
UBS has appointed Can Uran as co-head of fixed income, currency and commodities for emerging markets. Uran will work alongside Ritesh Dutta and will join in early September. He will be based in London and reports to co-heads of FICC. Dimitri Psyllidis and Rajeev Misra.
Uran’s last position was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he had worked since 2007. He was most recently head of
