FSA risk head to step down in 2011

Sally Dewar, a board member and managing director of risk at the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA), will leave the organisation in May 2011, she said today. Dewar is primarily responsible for sectoral and market-wide risk identification and mitigation, and the overall risk management process. She joined the FSA in 2002, and was named as managing director of wholesale in January 2008, joining the board at the same time. In 2009 the FSA restructured and Dewar took charge of the risk business
