
MFS promotes Robert Manning to chairman
Robert Manning will take over as chairman of Boston-based asset management firm MFS Investment Management on July 1. He will succeed Robert Pozen, who will become chairman emeritus until he retires from the firm at the end of the year.
Manning joined MFS in 1984 as an analyst in the fixed income department, and has served as a portfolio manager, director of fixed income research, and chief fixed income officer. He became chief executive officer and chief investment officer in February 2004, and
