Men shaking hands

Deutsche Bank has appointed Stephen Byrne as European head of distressed trading, where he will be responsible for leading growth of the par, high-yield and distressed platform. Byrne is to be based in London and will report to Gavin Colquhoun, head of European distressed products.

Prior to his appointment, Byrne was co-head of European high-yield and public loan trading at Goldman Sachs, spending the last five years working in Europe on the bank's leveraged loan-trading platform.
