
Rowe to leave SunGard to set up risk consultancy

David Rowe, executive vice-president for risk management at Pennsylvania-based software vendor SunGard, will retire from the company at the end of this month and will set up his own risk management consultancy.
The new consulting firm, David M Rowe Risk Advisory, will focus on board orientation and board advisory, as well as financial risk management process review and assessment. He will also concentrate on the deployment and operation of risk management technology.
