Bank of America Merrill Lynch appoints new global markets head

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Hayley Boesky as vice-chairman of global markets, in a newly created position.

Based in New York, Boesky will report to Bryan Weadock, the co-head of global fixed income, currencies and commodities sales, and to Mike Joo, the chief operating officer of global markets.

Boesky will join the bank in April from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where she has been director of market analysis since 2007.
