Nomura hires equity co-heads for EMEA
Japanese investment bank Nomura has appointed Abdelkerim Karim and Sam Ruiz co-heads of equities for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Based in London, they will report to Rachid Bouzouba and Naoki Matsuba, the global co-heads of equities. Karim and Ruiz replace Bouzouba following his promotion in March.
Karim was Nomura's head of EMEA equity structured products and Ruiz was the bank's head of EMEA equities trading. Their replacements have not been announced.
