Deutsche Bank hires new head of prime brokerage

Deutsche Bank has appointed Joe Cassidy to the newly-created position of head of prime brokerage and derivatives clearing for global rates.

Based in London, Cassidy will report to Fredrik Gentzel, head of credit portfolio management and prime brokerage for global rates and commodities.

Cassidy will join Deutsche from Japanese investment bank Nomura, where he is global co-head of prime services, in May.
