RBS hires new FIG chief

Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed William Fall as global head of the financial institutions group in its global banking and markets division. Based in London, Fall will report to Marco Mazzucchelli, deputy CEO of the division. Fall will be responsible for managing the relationships between the bank and its financial institution clients.

His most recent role was chief executive officer of Icelandic bank Straumur-Burdaras, which was closed by the Icelandic Financial Supervisory Authority in
