
Top quant leaves Bloomberg
Peter Carr, the head of quantitative financial research at Bloomberg in New York, has left to join Morgan Stanley.
Carr departs after seven years at Bloomberg. He is set to become Morgan Stanley's global head of core modelling in April, reporting to Jay Dweck, the global head of strategies and technology at the bank. He will continue to be based in New York and will replace current head Joe Langsam, who is retiring.
