HSBC appoints Fung to Asia-Pacific role

HSBC has appointed Anita Fung as head of global banking and markets, Asia-Pacific. Fung has been with HSBC since 1996 and has held a number of different roles, all based in Hong Kong.

She adds responsibility for global banking to her previous role as head of global markets.Gordon French succeeds Fung as head of global markets.

Fung will report locally to Peter Wong, chief executive of HSBC, and functionally to Robin Phillips and Samir Assaf for global banking and markets, as well as John Flint
