New chairman for the Joint Forum

Tony D’Aloisio has taken over as chairman of the Joint Forum – an international committee of senior bank, insurance and securities supervisors – for a two-year term.

D’Aloisio is chairman of the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC), Australia’s corporate, markets and financial services regulator, a role he has held since May 2007.

He has also been an ASIC commissioner, and was managing director and chief executive at the Australian Stock Exchange from 2004 to 2006. Between 1992
