RBC Capital Markets recruits two on Asia desk

The capital markets unit of Royal Bank of Canada has hired Mike Bass as a managing director and head of fixed income and currencies for Asia ex-Japan.

Bass has worked in fixed income and currencies for over 20 years and most recently ran the global commodities group at Standard Chartered in Singapore. He has also worked for HypoVereinsbank and Rabobank.

RBC has also hired Mark Otis Zownir as a managing director and head of US dollar rates trading for Asia. Zownir has more than 15 years of rates
