Investec swoops for BlueMountain credit head

Investec Asset Management has appointed Jeff Burch as co-head of its credit team. He joins the fixed income team which is co-headed by John Stopford.

Burch joins from specialist credit hedge fund BlueMountain Capital, where he ran the European credit operations and managed all European, Asian and African credit exposure. Prior to that, he was part of the proprietary credit trading group at Bank of America and has also worked in credit at Morgan Stanley and Chase Securities.
