Jefferies hires credit sales chief for Europe
US investment bank Jefferies has hired Jon Pliner as head of European credit sales and trading, based in London.
Pliner joins from Merrill Lynch, where he spent 15 years in a number of credit-related roles, including head of flow credit trading and head of European emerging markets.
In a related move Kenton Jernigan, previously head of European high yield sales and trading, will assume responsibility for sales across the European credit spectrum.
Jefferies has also added eight in its MBS/ABS
