Credit Suisse adds Assoun

Yan Assoun is joining Credit Suisse as a managing director and head of European Equity Derivatives trading, reporting to Simon Yates, head of global equity derivatives and co-head of European Equities. Assoun will join the bank on November 5 and will be based in London. He will focus on further strengthening Credit Suisse’s equity derivatives platform, working closely with both the sales and structuring teams.

Assoun joins Credit Suisse from Deutsche Bank, where he worked for five years, most recently as managing director and European head of single stocks derivatives and Structured Products in London.

Prior to Deutsche, he worked at BNP for six years as head of German single stock equity derivatives and as an equity options market maker. He began his career as a market maker on Eurex in Frankfurt.

Assoun has a broad experience in equity derivatives, particularly French, German and Swiss single stocks, as well as structured products, proprietary trading, and pricing and option models.
