
Pang and Park start at Credit Suisse
One of the worst kept secrets in the Asian structured products market was revealed to the public earlier today, when Credit Suisse confirmed the appointment of Ken Pang and Min Park as co-heads of equity derivatives and convertibles, Asia-Pacific. Pang and Park were previously synonymous with UBS, where they headed up that bank's Asian equity derivatives business. Pang and Park will still be based in Hong Kong and will report to Osama Abbasi, head of equities, Asia-Pacific.
Pang joins Credit Suisse as a managing director and head of equity derivatives and convertibles trading, Asia-Pacific and will lead the derivatives and convertibles product platform and take responsibility for trading, risk management and infrastructure development. Park also joins as an MD and head of equity derivatives and convertibles sales, Asia-Pacific and will oversee all derivatives and convertibles sales, distribution and structuring functions. Park was previously head of all derivatives
