JP Morgan hires retail structured products head

JP Morgan is making changes within its equity derivatives division in Asia, as part of a global reorganisation of its derivatives sales force, to create a retail-focused cross-asset-class group.

John Robson joined the US bank in Hong Kong in January, in the newly created role of managing director and head of retail structured products (RSP) marketing for Asia ex-Japan. He was most recently co-head of equity derivatives for Asia ex-Japan at Nomura in Hong Kong. Before joining Nomura in 2005, he had been a senior marketer at Merrill Lynch for seven years.
