Yates rises at Credit Suisse

Simon Yates has been named as co-head for global securities in the Emea region for Credit Suisse, a newly created role that Yates will add to his role of head of global equity derivatives. Yates will report to Mike Ryan globally and to Eric Varvel on a regional basis, as will Gael de Boissard, who was appointed as the other co-head, alongside Yates. They will both be members of the EMEA Operating Committee and the Global Securities Operating Committee.

For equity derivatives, Yates will continue to report to Tony Ehinger, head of equities, and will remain a member of the Global Equities Management Committee.
