BofA creates in equity derivatives

Bank of America has established an international institutional equity derivatives desk in London. The move marks a further expansion of the bank’s equity derivatives platform, following Ben Wilkinson’s move to London last year to head up equity derivatives.

Justin Golden, head of Institutional Hedge Fund Sales, will head the new desk, which is designed to cover hedge funds and fund managers for equities Trading, prime brokerage and derivatives.

Wilkinson, global head of Equity Derivative Product and head of Equities, EMEA and Asia moved to London from the bank’s New York office. Patrick Sommer, head of Investor Marketing is responsible for investor
