Ixis AM promotes Masson to head of European sales

Ixis Asset Management Global Associates (Ixis AM) has made Sébastien Masson head of European sales. He will be responsible for managing the Paris-based Europe sales team, which covers Switzerland, Iberians, Skandies, Benelux and Austria. He will report to Hervé Guinamant, head of European and Middle East development.

Masson joined Ixis AM in 2003 as head of distribution within the French market. Prior to joining IXIS Asset Management, Masson was head of product development at Société Générale Asset Management.

Masson began his career in the sales and marketing division of the French investment fund distributor CORTAL in 1994. He has also worked in the sales department of Société Générale Equity Derivatives where he covered fund derivatives.
