RBC expands structured products in Latin America

RBC Capital Markets has appointed Flavio Paparella as director and head of institutional structured products sales for Latin America, marking a further expansion for the bank in the region.

Paparella will initially focus on countries where the bank has a presence, such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Panama and Uruguay, and will work closely with financial institutions, pension funds, hedge funds, mutual funds, central banks, insurance companies, corporations, and ministries of finance.

Paparella was most recently with Bank of Ireland, where he headed the financial institutions desk that included Latin American banks, hedge funds and corporations, and US hedge funds, pension
