Deutsch, who will report to Peter Lucas, head of structured and specialist investments, joined from Goldman Sachs JB Were’s Securities division where she was chief operating officer. She originally joined Macquarie in 1993 and spent 12 years in a number of roles including managing the adviser broking services desk and establishing the bank’s warrants sales desk in Hong Kong.
