CAAM makes appointments in Italy

Crédit Agricole Asset Management (CAAM) has made appointments to its Italian subsidiary, CAAM SGR, to target both the retail market and the institutional investors market.

Gabriele Tavazzani has replaced Andrea Cecchini, who has left CAAM SGR, as head of marketing and sales at CAAM SGR.

Tavazzani was previously head of relationship management with the Intesa group banks and Intesa Private Banking. Michel Pelosoff has been appointed managing director and Roberto Dopudi head of asset management at CAAM SGR. Both will be based in Milan.

Credit Agricole has 665 branches in Italy following the purchase of Cariparma, which provides banking and insurance services, and
