Users' group appoints Konan

Sacha Konan, Geneva-based head of Cargill Cape Trading, has been appointed the new chairman of the Baltic Exchange's Dry Freight Market Information Users' Group.

The group provides shipowners, charterers and freight derivative traders with a forum for issues surrounding the development of the freight derivatives market and the Baltic Exchange's wide range of shipping market information.

Konan said:
