Pioneers Emissions broking: Icap

Since setting up its European emissions trading desk in March 2004, Icap is estimated to have gained around 40%-50% of the brokered OTC market.

The desk, which now comprises five people, has brokered several firsts, and has been instrumental in the early development of this fledgling market.
