Amine Bel Hadj Soulami has been global head of commodity derivatives at BNP Paribas since March. His appointment was part of the bank's strategy to advance its commodity derivatives business and strengthen links between its commodity and equity derivatives teams.

"We're now teaming the commodities department up much more closely with our equity derivatives department," he says. "We have a pretty ambitious plan to invest in commodity markets for the long-term. We want to replicate what we've got
