Allegheny recruits vice-president

US electricity company Allegheny Energy has appointed Eric Gleason to the position of vice-president of corporate development. His role will cover strategic planning and development and power-market modelling and analysis.

Gleason has 11 years of investment banking experience on two major Wall Street firms. Most recently Gleason worked as executive director of natural resources investment banking at JP Morgan. Before that he was VP of investment banking at Goldman Sachs.
