Top energy trader leaves JP MorganH George 'Beau' Taylor, head of JP Morgan's global gas and power trading business, has left the investment bank. A spokesman for JP Morgan confirmed the departure to Energy Risk, but declined to comment further. However, a company memo by Blythe Masters, global head of JP Morgan's currencies and commodities business said Taylor would be leaving immediately. Masters said energy will continue to be a major area of focus for the bank in 2007/2008.

Taylor is expected
