Spectron opens new office

Global energy broker Spectron Group has opened a new office in the US, which will specialise in brokering emissions and coal.

The office, in Vancouver, Washington, is being run by Mike Ferguson, who has 10 years' experience in emissions markets and trading, and 15 years' experience of energy markets.

Ferguson was previously a director at the Millenium Environmental Group in Tucson, Arizona, and before that was senior vice-president of Euro Brokers' commodities division in New York.
