Morgan Stanley re-hires Lehman quant chief

Eduardo Canabarro returns to Morgan Stanley today, March 5, after a three-year stint at Lehman Brothers. Based in New York, he is a managing director in quantitative risk management, reporting to Thomas Daula, the firm’s chief risk officer.

When he left Morgan Stanley in March 2004, Canabarro was an executive director in the analytics modelling group.

At Lehman, Canabarro was global head of quantitative risk management, overseeing the firm’s market, credit and operational risk analytics, as well
