Iosco sets up task force to investigate subprime crisis
The International Organisation of Securities Commissions (Iosco) is creating a task force to review the recent disturbance in global credit markets and decide whether the body can help prevent such problems in future.
Michel Prada, chairman of Iosco’s technical committee, said the crisis reinforced the need for regulators to develop international principles of regulation.
The task force will assess
