Wauton leaves Gartmore
Mark Wauton, senior investment manager for fixed income, has left Gartmore in London. Karl Bergqwist, head of credit investment, and Simon Surtees, head of credit research, have taken over his funds, says a spokesperson at the firm.
Wauton joined Gartmore in 2003 from UBS Asset Management to launch the firm’s AlphaGen Credit hedge fund business alongside Varkki Chacko in New York.
