Merrill axes top execs

Merrill Lynch has parted company with two senior bankers as it prepares to announce its third-quarter results.

Osman Semerci, head of fixed-income trading in London, and Dale Lattanzio, head of structured credit products, have left the bank.

In a further move, Dow Kim, president of Merrill Lynch’s global markets and investment banking group, who was due to leave the bank at the end of the year, has left ahead of schedule.
