Merrill Lynch hires Middle East and Africa global markets head

Merrill Lynch has hired Jeffrey Culpepper as head of global markets and investment banking for the Middle East and North Africa.

Culpepper is based in London, but will transfer to Dubai when Merrill’s office there opens shortly, says a spokesperson. He reports to Andrea Orcel and Osman Semerci, co-presidents of global markets and investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, both
