McCormick takes on distressed debt at JPMorgan

JPMorgan has created a new role for Katherine McCormick managing distressed debt across the bank. The move comes as banks gear up for a busy year in distressed debt as the default rate looks set to rise.

McCormick was previously head of the European corporate research group, managing both credit and equity research. That role has now been into split into two: Stephen Dulake, formerly head of European credit strategy adds credit research to his remit, while Jose Linares retains responsibility for
