Deutsche Bank hires head of index strategy

Deutsche Bank has hired John Butler as head of the index strategy group in London.

Reporting to Bhupinder Singh, head of structured rates products for Europe and Asia, Butler joins from Lehman Brothers where he was head of European rates strategy. He has also worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein as chief debt strategist.

Singh says the hire will help the bank satisfy investor demand for alpha-generating products.
