BarCap takes on fixed-income trader
Barclays Capital has hired Charlie Parkhurst as MD and fixed-income trader, specialising in Strips. Based in New York, he will work on developing the firm’s business at the long end of the Treasury curve, reporting to Ronti Pal, head of dollar fixed-income linear rates trading.
Before joining Barclays, Parkhurst was a partner and proprietary rates trader at Archeus Capital Management and Centerlight Capital Management. He also spent 15 years at Salomon Brothers, where he was in charge of
