Goldman’s Amarger joins Deutsche’s asset management division

DWS Scudder, the US retail brand name for Deutsche Bank’s asset management division DeAM, has hired Regis Amarger as chairman and head of the Americas investment risk oversight committee for equity and fixed-income strategies in New York.

Amarger comes from Goldman Sachs, where he was a senior market risk manager. In his new position, he will be responsible for risk management within investment portfolios, reporting to Axel Schwarzer, head of DeAM Americas and DWS Scudder.
